It was so scary!!!!!! And the dude kept running back into the car to grab stuff, and he used up all of the fire extinguisher but he didn't extinguish the fire!!!
Anyway, then we gtfo because we were scared for our lives and continued on our way to the airport... Where I met up with BRENDA!!!!!!
We got cheesesteaks and fries and she told me all about her European travels. (Um.. Perdón, but like can I get like a grilled queso? Like a grilled cheese? Queso?)
So our flight kept getting delayed but we finally took off around 7, only 1.5 hours late... Brenda didn't want to sit next to me so I sat next to a Chinese dude who didn't speak English much.
We got to LA at around 9:30 then taxied forever (actually like 30 minutes). I was SO scared I was going to miss my connection.
Hopped off the plane at LAX, then shoved and speed walked my way to find the gate for my connection.
Luckily, it was really close by. The waiting area for the gate was separate from the gate and had people sitting in it still, and I also got a text when I landed that the flight was delayed, so I asked the guy at the gate if the plane had boarded yet. He retorted that they were about to close the gates. Pfft as if they would close the gates without their most important cargo (me 💁).
So I got on my plane and sat next to the cutest Australian newlywed couple that were flying back from their honeymoon. They were so nice!!!!!! And told me fun stuff about Oz and their honeymoon to Mexico and LA. And reassured me about Sydney. And told me how cold it would be ('it's going to be freezing when we land'). But I sat behind these two really little kids and couldn't sleep even though I was so so so freaking tired and my eyes were burning and I kept closing them. So I just tried to sleep for 13 hours but failed miserably. But then we finally got to SYDNEY AUSTRALIA!!!
