I did laundry in the morning, and then just hung around the room for a bit. I went to the secondhand bookstore on campus with Chloe and bought one of my books, and also got in touch with someone else that was selling another of the books. Then we played some chess (Chloe is really bad but loves playing).
At 5, we went to Photography Club. I learned all about night photography and how to shoot pictures of stars and fireworks and other night scenes. Too bad I don't have a nice camera.
Afterward, we went outside to put some of our new knowledge to work. I met a bunch of people, but we met Yuzhong and Victor, who are both students at UNSW who studied abroad in the US last year; really nice guys!
We were still hungry after the 3 slices of pizza hut that we got at photoclub so we all went downtown for some ramen.
We went to this restaurant named Ichi-ban Boshi. I got wonton men, it was good!!! and affordable!!!!!
We walked by the Queen Victoria Building (mall), and our Australian friends were embarrassed that I was being touristy :P
We went to Darling Harbour. There was a boat show going on for the week.
Then we went to the star, which is a hotel/casino with a lot of restaurants.
We got gelato at messina!!! I don't remember what the flavor was called, but it was vanilla ice cream with this pastry in it and also strawberries and other delicious things. It was good.
After we chatted for a bit, Yuzhong took us to this whiskey bar. It was mostly just old white businessmen but the place was really cool and had a nice atmosphere. I liked it!
I got back home sometime after 12 and went to bed.
